Cy Strom provides leadership with Rembrand Lifestyle in his role as Editor.

Cy is a contributing writer to the Simon & Schuster Handbook for Writers (Pearson Education Canada, 2009), the leading book in its field, currently in its 5th Canadian edition, and a freelance editor with 20 years of experience. For most of that time he has served on the Editors’ Association of Canada (EAC) Committee on Professional Standards, the body that drafts the standards EAC uses in its tests certifying the professional competence of editors.

Cy edits in a wide range of areas, including scientific fields such as archaeology (the Kommos Project at the University of Toronto), as well as government and corporate settings. He has copy edited three editions of Thomson and Shaffer’s textbook, First Principles of Gastroenterology. His work demonstrates superior technical skill and flexibility, and the capacity to do research across many different fields. He has a BA from the University of Toronto and MA and MPhil degrees from Columbia University in New York.
